A few minutes of reflection at the end of the day and week help you close loops and start the next one with a clear head.
Wind down the day
Open the arrow next to Plan my day in the header and choose Wind down the day. On a phone, you’ll find it in the menu drawer.
Planzer also opens it once a day by itself after your shutdown time.
The shutdown window asks “How did it go?” and shows:
How many tasks you Closed, how many are Unfinished, your Hit rate and how much time you Tracked.
The tasks you finished today.
Tag what slipped: pick a reason for each unfinished task, such as “Ran out of time” or “Blocked by something”. These reasons feed the “Why tasks slip” chart in Analytics.
Then fill in what you like:
Wins worth remembering: what you’re proud of.
What got in the way?: distractions, blockers and surprises.
Energy: from 1 (depleted) to 5 (energised).
Click Save & wind down.
Unfinished tasks roll over to today’s list the next morning.
Change your shutdown time
Go to Settings → Account:
Shutdown reminder time (under Notifications) sets the hour, from 14:00 to 22:00. The default is 17:00.
Shutdown email reminder sends a short email at that time if you haven’t wound down in the app yet.
Shutdown reminder (precise) (under Reminders) lets you pick an exact time instead.
Plan and review your week
Open the arrow next to Plan my day and choose Plan my week or Review my week.
Weekly planning shows last week’s numbers and asks for:
Intentions for the week
Focus areas
How you’re starting, on a 1–5 energy scale
It also lists Deadlines this week and Goals to nudge forward. Click Save weekly plan.
Weekly review shows what you Closed, Planned, your Hit rate and your Deadlines, and reminds you what you set out to do. Fill in Wins worth keeping, Lessons & adjustments and how the week felt, then click Save weekly review.
Email reminders
Turn on Friday weekly review in Settings → Account → Notifications to get an email on Friday afternoons reminding you to review your week.
