Keyboard shortcuts and the command palette let you move around Planzer without reaching for the mouse.
Keyboard shortcuts
Press ? anywhere in Planzer to see the shortcut sheet.
⌘ + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows and Linux): open the command palette.
N: quick add a task.
V: talk to add tasks.
?: show the shortcut sheet.
Inside the task window:
Esc: save and close.
S: snooze the task to tomorrow.
⌘ + Enter or Ctrl + Enter: save the description.
Single-letter shortcuts don’t fire while you’re typing in a text field, so they won’t get in the way of your writing.
The command palette
Press ⌘ + K or Ctrl + K, or click the search icon in the header. Start typing to search or jump somewhere.
The palette finds:
Actions: Plan my day, New task, Talk to add tasks, Start focus session, Share today’s plan, Go to dashboard, Open analytics, Open goals, Open templates, Manage tags and Account settings.
Tasks: your Planzer tasks, by title.
Projects and Goals, by name.
Use the arrow keys to move and Enter to select.
Quick add from the palette
Press N, or choose New task in the palette.
Type your task, for example
Reply to Anna tomorrow !high ~30m.Press Enter.
You can add details inline: #tag for a tag, @project for a project, ~30m for an estimate, !high for a priority and a word like tomorrow for the date. Smarter AI parsing of what you type is part of Planzer Pro.
Desktop app shortcuts
In the Mac, Windows and Linux apps, ⌘/Ctrl + Alt + T starts or stops the timer and ⌘/Ctrl + Alt + N adds a new task, even when Planzer is in the background.
