You can keep working on your tasks when you lose your internet connection, and Planzer syncs your changes as soon as you’re back online.
What happens when you go offline
A banner appears saying You’re offline. You can keep adding, editing, finishing, reordering and deleting tasks as usual. Planzer saves each change on your device and queues it to be sent later.
The banner tells you how many changes are waiting, for example “3 changes will sync when you’re back online.” If you haven’t changed anything yet, it says “Changes will save when you’re back online.”
Your queued changes are kept even if you close the app or restart your device.
When you’re back online
Planzer sends your waiting changes in the order you made them. When it’s done, you’ll see a message like Synced 3 changes and the banner disappears.
If you edited the same task several times while offline, the edits are combined so only the final result is sent. A task you created and then deleted while offline is simply dropped.
“Not synced yet”
Sometimes your device says it’s online, but Planzer can’t actually reach the internet, for example on hotel or airport Wi-Fi that needs you to log in first. In that case the banner shows Not synced yet and “changes waiting to sync — retrying.” Planzer keeps trying in the background. Try opening another website to check your connection, or switch networks.
What needs a connection
Offline support covers your tasks. These things need an internet connection:
Loading new calendar events and moving calendar blocks
Loading items from connected tools like Asana or Jira
AI features, voice parsing and sharing your plan
Changing settings or your subscription
Editing on two devices
If you change a task offline and someone (or you, on another device) changes the same thing in the meantime, Planzer lets you decide which version to keep when you reconnect.
