Connect your Outlook email to turn emails into tasks and plan them into your day.
Add your Outlook email
Open the user menu (your initials in the top-right corner) and choose Integrations.
Click Add an Outlook email.
Sign in with your Microsoft account and allow Planzer access.
Your email account now appears in the email accounts list on the Integrations page. You can add more than one Outlook email.
At the moment, Planzer only supports Outlook email. Connecting your Outlook calendar doesn’t connect your inbox, so add your email separately even if your calendar is already connected.
See your emails in Planzer
Open the switcher at the top of the sidebar and choose Outlook.
If you’ve added more than one email address, pick the one you want from the dropdown.
Use Search emails to find a specific message.
If you see “Inbox zero”, there’s nothing waiting in your inbox.
Turn an email into a task
Drag an email onto a day column or onto the calendar. It becomes a task in your plan, and you can estimate it, time block it and track time on it.
Automations
Go to Settings → Integrations and click Automations on the Outlook row. You can choose what happens to the email:
Import automations: when you bring an email into Planzer.
Completion automations: when you finish the email task in Planzer.
The options are Archive, Mark as read, Mark as unread, Add flag, Clear flag and Mark as important. For example, you could flag emails when you import them and archive them when the task is done.
“Reconnect Outlook to enable email automations”
If you see this, Planzer can only read your mail and can’t archive or flag it. Reconnect and approve access again. Your settings are kept.
Remove an email account
Go to Settings → Integrations and click Remove next to the email account.
