Analytics and the AI weekly review

Understand your Analytics charts and generate an AI summary of your week with Pro.

The Analytics page shows where your time and tasks are going, so you can spot patterns and plan better.

Open Analytics

Open the user menu (your initials in the top-right corner) and choose Analytics. You can also press ⌘/Ctrl + K and choose Open analytics.

Your key numbers

  • This week: how many of this week’s tasks you’ve completed.

  • Completion rate: the share of this week’s tasks you’ve finished.

  • Tracked time: the total time you’ve tracked this month.

  • Focus: your focus time, and how many of this week’s focus sessions you completed.

Charts

  • Completion trend: tasks completed compared with tasks planned, per day, for the last 14 days. Click a day for its numbers, or choose Show as table.

  • Tasks by project (this month): completed and total tasks per project.

  • Tasks by priority: completed and total tasks per priority level.

  • Estimated vs actual (this month): how your estimates compare with the time you actually tracked, per project. Being within 10% counts as on target.

  • Why tasks slip (last 60 days): the reasons you picked for unfinished tasks in Plan my day and when winding down.

  • Time by project (this month): where your tracked time went.

  • Recently closed (last 7 days): the tasks you’ve finished lately.

The more you estimate, track time and tag slipped tasks, the more useful these charts become.

AI weekly review

Pro: At the top of the Analytics page, AI weekly review writes a short summary of what shipped and what slipped this week.

  1. Open Analytics.

  2. Click Generate.

  3. Wait a few seconds while Planzer writes your summary.

Use it as a starting point for your weekly review, or to share progress with your team. On the free plan, clicking the button shows you what’s included in Pro. The AI weekly review isn’t available in the iPhone and Android apps, so use the web or desktop app.

Improve your numbers

  • If you’re often over your estimates, add a buffer when planning.

  • If “Ran out of time” keeps showing up, plan fewer tasks per day.

  • Use the completion trend to find the days of the week you’re most productive.
