You can connect your iCloud Calendar to Planzer using an app-specific password from Apple.
Apple doesn’t offer a sign-in button for calendars, so instead of your normal Apple ID password, you create a special password just for Planzer. You can revoke it at any time.
Before you start
Your Apple Account needs to have two-factor authentication turned on. Apple only lets you create app-specific passwords when it is.
Step 1: Create an app-specific password
Go to account.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Open Sign-In and Security, then App-Specific Passwords.
Create a new password and name it “Planzer”.
Copy the password Apple shows you. It looks like
xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
Step 2: Connect it in Planzer
In Planzer, open the user menu (your initials in the top-right corner) and choose Calendars.
Click Add an iCloud calendar.
Enter your Apple ID email.
Paste the App-specific password. Don’t use your normal Apple ID password; it won’t work.
Click Connect.
Your iCloud calendars appear on the Calendars page, where you can switch individual calendars on or off.
If connecting fails
Check that you entered the Apple ID email you created the password for.
Make sure you pasted the app-specific password, not your Apple ID password.
Create a fresh app-specific password and try again.
Reconnect after revoking the password
If you revoke the Planzer password in your Apple Account, or change your Apple ID password (which revokes all app-specific passwords), iCloud stops accepting it. The account card then shows Reconnect required and a banner appears on your dashboard.
Create a new app-specific password at account.apple.com.
Click Reconnect on the iCloud card in Planzer.
Paste the new password and click Reconnect.
How fast do changes sync?
Changes you make in iCloud Calendar show up in Planzer within a couple of minutes. That’s a little slower than Google and Outlook, because iCloud doesn’t notify Planzer about changes straight away.
