Connect Outlook Calendar

Connect your Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar, choose calendars to show and reconnect if needed.

Connect your Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar to see your meetings next to your tasks and time block your day.

Connect your Microsoft account

  1. Open the user menu (your initials in the top-right corner) and choose Calendars.

  2. Click Add an Outlook calendar.

  3. Sign in with your Microsoft work, school or personal account.

  4. Review the permissions and click Accept.

You’re taken back to Planzer and your events appear on the calendar within a few seconds.

If your organisation restricts third-party apps, you may see a message saying you need admin approval. In that case, ask your IT administrator to approve Planzer for your organisation.

Choose which calendars to show

On the Calendars settings page, each connected account has its own card. Under Calendars, switch individual calendars on or off.

Connect more than one account

You can add as many calendar accounts as you like. Click Add an Outlook calendar again to add another Microsoft account, or add Google and iCloud calendars alongside it.

“Reconnect required”

If the connection expires, for example after a password change or if access is removed in your Microsoft account, the account card shows Reconnect required and a banner appears on your dashboard. Click Reconnect and sign in again to keep your events in sync.

Remove an Outlook account

On the Calendars settings page, click Remove account on the account’s card. The account you signed up with can’t be removed.

How fast do changes sync?

Changes you make in Outlook usually show up in Planzer within seconds, and changes you make in Planzer go straight to Outlook.

Outlook email

Connecting your Outlook calendar doesn’t connect your Outlook inbox. To turn emails into tasks, add your Outlook email separately under Settings → Integrations.
